Are you sure you want to do that? Landscape timbers wouldn't make a very comfortable bench, I wouldn't think (sturdy as all get-out, though).
Here is a nice plan for a easy-to-build simple bench:

U need to experiment my partner and i owned that type of business only thing is be aware of the lenght of the grass cause some people leave it 3 months and expect to get it at the same price. Calculate the time it takes a mow a lawn.Start with your own yard. Then get quotes from other mowing businesses.
We recently bought a new home with 1/4 of an acre (we used to have 1 acre so this is a small yard for us). It's a blank slate and I want to set the yard up to maximize the space for our family. Does anyone know any good websites with step-by-step guide to landscaping a small yard? Nothing extreme--I'll be doing it myself. Thanks!
I love gardening and landscaping - hope this helps!! Under sources are some of the websites I use:
It really depends on your style - do you like lots of plants, flowers or more rock and wood, maybe you want a large grass area, trees, fruit and vegetable garden, a BBQ/patio area is always nice too, maybe a pond or waterfall or fountain would be nice.
I have a friend who has about a 1/4 acre and she planted a small organic garden - she sells the produce to families - her 1/4 acre can feed about 50 families.
I have started a small barrel garden with carrots, lettuce, tomato - it's is a great little garden - tasty too - my daughter and I have learned alot. We bought a hammock so we can relax and look at the stars - you know slow down and enjoy life more, we have a small bridge and a fountain too.
Some of my favorite plants in my garden include:
lavendar - we cut it and dry it and put it in our drawers for a nice smell, you can even put it in the dryer with clothes for a fresh smell, even add it too your bath

This summer we are planning to section off a small part of the yard for more eatable garden goodies. We may even add a couple fruit trees.
I saw something a while back on Blu-ray that featured a walk around the streets of Tokyo and other Japanese cities. I don't recall the name. Just need something to either watch and relax or have looping on my Hi Def TV.
