im starting out to make a landscaping business what equipment do i need and what services should i offer

the most important thing to remember is to be dependable and fair.you will need a good lawn mower and line trimmer.you may want to also invest in a blower and power hedge trimmers.i use a rake and broom and a good sharp pair of manual hedge trimmers.that said,you will need a lawn rake,a metal rake,a spade ,edger,flat shovel,push broom,a wheel barrel and pitch fork.also gloves, a good pair of pruning shears,a small hand cultivator,and 5 gallon bucket.

you will offer spring and fall clean-up.leaf raking and so forth.

you may also create,plant and spread mulch on the flower beds.

weekly maintenance that includes:grass mowing, line trimming,trimming of bushes and hedges,and edging.

you may also offer pruning of trees and shrubs.

then theres weeding, deadheading, grass reseeding.

get a little at a time by putting money back into the bussiness and not just in your pocket.also it may pay to do some advertising in the local paper or having bussiness cards made up.i think staples charges $15.99 for a thousand of them.see if the local stores will allow you to leave a few on the counter.remember an honest days pay for an honest days labor and word will get around.good luck

2. Warranties?
3. Annual cost of repair/maintenance?
4. Means of repair? ie. dealer, service center, sears....
5. Ease and speed of service? 1-10 1: difficult, 10: easy

Go to Ebay. In small blue letters next to the search area it says Advanced Search. Once there there is an option under Search Including, check the box for completed listings. This will give you the actual prices people paid for whatever you are trying to sell. It is a great way to find what the market is bearing for your particular item.
