( a vertical strip thermometer that's black ) , i see that it has blocks on it next to the temp. numbers but i don't know how to read it
the block will go to the temp. that the tank is at, The block with the most color(weather it be blue or green)That is what the temp is at.

I just bought it and stuck it to the side of my fish tank but I feel like an idiot and cant read it can some one tell me how to read it please!!!! I atached a link of the thermometer that I bought if this helps!

Ya i have one of those to... it takes a few mins. for it to get the temp. but when mine is ready... it shades in the temp with like a blue/grey color. its kinda hard to see if there isnt alot of light around.
Try lookin for a different color around the temps... and thats your temp.
yours may also be defective... try a new one.

at home i have this thermometer compass thing and on it it reached101 f which i think its 38c it was in countesthorpe in leicester in england it works because i've seen it move it was outside in the garden today so is it right
it depends if it is in the direct sunlight as they are suposed to be in the shade
