How do I clean my blocked garden bore?
Old Garden Sieve or Riddle

20 metres down - sieve blocked. Would a blast of compressed air do the job
A bore goes down to the water table with a submirshable pump inside the liner at the bottom and pumps ground water up.The sieve part is the last 18feet of the outer casing and allows the water to run in to the pump

Welcome to Y/A. I'm afraid I don't know what a garden bore is. Try being more specific and more details. HNY.

I have earth mounds appearing at the bottom of my garden.?
Garden Sieve - Original Photo

The earth seems to be very fine as if it had been sieved,I do not think it is moles. What other animals create these sort of mounds?

It's probably moles. If you don't want to kill them, I've heard that if you stamp down hard on the mound, this will discourage the moles because they don't like loud noises and they'll tunnel in the other direction! I read somewhere, also, about someone who put a small speaker down the tunnel and played old Cliff Richard tracks. Also, take advantage of the fine soil in the mole hill. It's great for potting up plants like geraniums as it's like finely sieved soil.
