Would make a great present for my mother-inlaw. Has anyone purchased one? I don't have enough time to do a search and to keeping looking and looking for one on the net.

If you like you mother-in-law, and want to spend money on quality garden supplies, I recommend A.M Leonard.

garden hose seems permanetly coiled due to 2 yrs. on hose reel. any way to get it useable again?
Green Garden Hose

it is a top quality hose-100 feet long.

uncoil it on a hot day and fill it with water and leave it to warm up.
To fill it with water there has to be a hose attachment which is closed to hold the water in. Turn off the faucet as soon as the hose is full. Once it is warm and the water in it runs out warm empty it (faucet off) and you're good to go

what is the best garden hose?
Garden Hose

I'm looking for a simple garden hose, and I'm considering one of those flat hoses. However, I've heard some bad stuff about them blowing apart, and that you have to run them to their full length to use them. I've heard bad things about coiled hoses, too.
I've also bought medium duty hoses (I think nylon), that kink even on the first use. I wonder if it's worth the money to buy a good rubber hose. And, if so, which one to buy?
Thanks, I know about the kink-free hoses. My point is that the ones the say "won't kink" , do anyway (and right out of the box so it's not about how I store them). I keep spending in the $25-$35 range for a 75 foot hose, and I just want to know if going up to the $40-$70 range is gonna make a difference. If so, what specific hose should I buy?

diesel heated pressure washer. I plugged the garden hose to the input, but no water comes out...?
Roses are Red, Hoses are Green

First time I tried it. Bought it second hand. Previous owner said "functions well". Amazing how sellers can be overly optimistic. So, when i plugged in and opened the garden hose, i heard water running inside the machine. I guess it was filling the heater coil. When I didn't hear water running any longer, I tried running the electric motor for 5 seconds. No water came out. Didn't want to run the motor longer for fear of damaging the pump from running it dry. The previous owner recommends following the water conduits, and taking it apart to find and clear the blockage. Any suggestions? I was thinking of running dilute vinegar and water, but the pump manual says not to run acids thru it. What to do? Maybe I need a "descaling"? Any advice, to repair this myself?

The pump valves may be stuck closed. If this is the case, you will need to disassemble the fluid pump head and work with the valves to free them up.
Also, there may be a by-pass or a purge built in to the pump system that is for priming the pump to get the air out of it (air-locked).

High Head Pressure switch keeps tripping - Carrier AC unit?
Hosepipe

My outside unit's high head pressure switch keeps tripping out. I have cleaned the condenser coils with a garden hose (being careful not to bend the fins) and have tried running the unit when outside temps are lower (at night) but it keeps happening - any suggestions? It's a Carrier 38ycc unit only about 4 yrs old.
How do I tell if it is a double coil unit?

I agree with Matt. Are you SURE the coil is clean? If it's a double coil you have to take the whole unit apart and clean them. It's not really hard, but it's not really easy either. Does the liquid line feel particulary warm or even hot? If not, there is a chance the condenser fan is dropping out after a while because IT is overheating. Of course it COULD be a bad pressure switch. I wouldn't bypass this though.

Those are your three best guesses.

Coiled 'Garden Hose' Radiator is Versatile, Mobile | Gizmodo Australia

Generally, I don’t consider radiators to be all that interesting (unless it is shaped like a Lego brick ), but this coiled radiator design from Ciussai is definitely an exception. The metal wire tubing can be wound and stretched much like a garden hose, which gives it far more functionality than simply heating a room. For example: you can coil it around a bar to dry clothes or lay it on your bed to warm things up on a cold night. I don’t know how safe all of this is, but I love the idea. And the best part is that it can actually be purchased from Ad Hoc—although pricing details are unknown.
